WFCE PRE-CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
WFCE will offer up to 4 student scholarships of $250.00 for 2020.
To qualify applicants must be:
□ Enrolled in an accredited university or college in the State of Wisconsin.
□ Earned a 2.75 grade point or better and have achieved junior status.
□ Declared a Family and Consumer Sciences Education major.
□ A student member of Wisconsin Family & Consumer Sciences Educators in good standing.
Scholarship committee members will evaluate applications on the basis of the following Selection Criteria:
□ Presently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State of Wisconsin □ Has achieved junior status prior to the following school year.
□ Applied for acceptance in the school of education as a FCS major.
□ Student member of WFCE prior to scholarship application
□ Participation in WFCE CESA networking events
□ Attendance at WFCE Summit Workshops
□ Attendance at WFCE Annual Conference
□ Active in campus student organizations
□ Maintains a 2.75 grade point average or higher
Application Requirements:
□ A completed copy of the application form.
□ Signature of undergraduate FCE program director/department chairperson.
□ The application should be sent to the president of WFCE by May 15, 2021.

Students may apply for and receive a WFCE pre-certification scholarship in both their junior and senior year of college. Applications will be collected and evaluated by the student scholarship committee. Scholarships will be announced at the WFCE Annual Conference.
