WFCE PRE-CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES 
WFCE will offer student scholarships of $250.00 
To qualify applicants must be: 

• Enrolled in an accredited university or college in the State of Wisconsin.
• Earned a 2.75 grade point or better and have achieved junior status.
• Declared a Family and Consumer Sciences Education major.
• A student member of WFCE.

Application Requirements: 

• A completed copy of the application form.
• Signature of undergraduate FCS program director/department chairperson.
• The application should be sent to committee chairperson by the May 15, 20**

Students may apply for and receive a WFCE pre-certification scholarship in both their junior and senior year of college.  Application will be collected and evaluated by the student scholarship committee.  Recipients are notified by the committee chairperson and invited to the annual conference.  Scholarships will be announced at the WFCE Annual Conference.

Scholarship committee members will evaluate applications on the basis of the following Selection Criteria: 
□ Presently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State of Wisconsin
□ Has achieved junior status (60 credits) prior to the following school year. 
□ Applied for acceptance in the School of Education (after 40 credits-3rd semester) as a FCS major. 
□ Participation in WFCE CESA networking events 
□ Attendance at WFCE Summit Workshops
