Christina Blindauer
Secretary

Picture

Hello everyone!  I am Christina Blindauer, and I am excited to be the new secretary for WFCE.  I live in Chilton, but I have taught in Sheboygan, Kiel, and Manitowoc.  I am currently at Manitowoc Lincoln High where I teach culinary arts.  I graduated from UW-Stout and also have a degree in professional counseling from Concordia.  Culinary is my passion, and I love to teach baking and pastry classes.  My greatest joy is when I watch my students find pride in their cooking!  In my spare time, I love to spend time with my three children, husband, and two dogs.  We love to garden, camp, and watch soccer.  In my role as secretary, I look forward to working with the board to improve communication for all area professionals.  It’s going to be a great year!

Julie Gomm
Treasurer

Hello my name is Julie Gomm.  I'm a graduate of UW-SP and have been teaching since 1987.  I currently  teach Culinary Basics, Culinary Advanced, Child Development and Parenting, Teen Living, Health Occupations, World of Foods, Clothing Construction & Fashion Merchandising and a 7th grade quarterly rotation.
I'm lucky that my children live in our home town of Shiocton and I get to see them and the grandbabies often. We are very active in the community and when we aren't doing that we head "up north."

Caitlin Engel
Reporter

Hello!  My name is Caitlin Engel.  I graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Health Education and in 2022, I earned my master's degree in education.  This is my ninth year of teaching and I teach culinary arts and interior design classes at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.   What I most enjoy about teaching FCS is the variety each day with the different classes that I teach and that my students are gaining life skills.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, boyfriend, friends, and cats!  I also enjoy cooking, baking, biking, and traveling.
I am excited to be your reporter this year!  I will be updating our website and posting on our Facebook page with information throughout the year.
