Hello my name is Nancy Merwin. I have a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and a master's degree in Elementary Education. This will be my 32nd year teaching at Cuba City School District. The classes I teach include: Foods for Life, Foods and Fitness, Foods of the World, Culinary Arts, Parenting, Assistant Child Care Teacher, Adult Living, Seventh Grade Exploratory and Youth Tutor Youth, along with coordinating Youth Apprentices. Additionally, I am the adviser for FCCLA and Educators Rising. I love helping students prepare for their future, whether it is in their personal life or professionally. It is great seeing their "ah ha" moments! I spend free time playing with our dog, taking rides or watching movies.

Greetings! I graduated with a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a broad field major in what was once called Home Economics. I have a masters degree in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse. I have been employed by the Oregon School District for my entire teaching career. In the Fall of 2026 I will be starting my 59th year of teaching. I teach all the Culinary Courses, Fashion and Design Courses , Health Science Courses and dual-credit Medical Terminology with Madison College. In the past I coached the dance team and was the cheerleading coach for 30 years. I have advised FCCLA since I started teaching and I now am also the advisor for HOSA. In my off time from school I enjoy watching the Packers and the Badgers, baking, and going for a drive in my corvette. I also serve as a commenter/reader and Eucharistic Minister at my church.Teaching gives me a sense of purpose and worth. Nothing is more fulfilling and rewarding than seeing the growth, development and accomplishments of my students over the years.
